Aurélie Machefaux is a French photographer, dividing her life between France and Asia (mainly in Nepal) since more than twenty years.

She works on long term projects on a women and their environment, minority and ecology, always in connection with human.

​

In 2022, she has been finalist of IWPA award for her documentary "Welcome to the World" on the problem of accessibility to maternal health care during the Covid pandemic. She regularly collaborates with nepalese NGOS.
